AHRKO is an Australian based, private unlisted company.
AHRKO has developed and patented a unique system to dry lignite cost efficiently using the principle of diluted phase pneumatic conveying.
This is a first in the world system, and has been developed with the support of the University of Melbourne.
The system is modular, has a relatively small footprint and designed to mass dry lignite and other granular materials such as sands and ores.
Multiple systems can operate side by side in parallel, or in sequence, depending on the throughput of dried product required. Dried materials can be easily bunkered or stored using standard methodologies.
The AHRKO System uses standard “off the shelf” components, and is
comparatively cheap to manufacture, install, commission, and maintain.
The dried lignite powder the system produces, has unlocked the unique
potential of Victorian Lignite to the world!
